Mission Statement

The Chicago Lebanese Club (CLC) is dedicated to preserving, enriching, and promoting the Lebanese culture and aims to serve the Lebanese Community in and outside of Chicago through cultural, educational, humanitarian, and social activities. The CLC is a not-for-profit organization and is not affiliated with any particular religious or political cause.

Four Pillars

CLC members are committed to serving the community through a focus on four pillars. Along with our mission statement and constitution, these pillars represent a core component of our Club's foundation.

These pillars include:

  • Social - CLC provides a range of social activities for single, student and family members. These activities allow members to gather together; share the company of Lebanese friends; and enjoy a variety of events both in the Chicago Lebanese community and in our broader Chicago community. Example events include family picnics, sports activities (e.g. soccer, volleyball, basketball), our Anniversary Party, and more.
  • Humanitarian - CLC gives back to its community through a number of humanitarian activities. Example activities include fundraising for Lebanese orphans; Habitat for Humanity; various Chicago area runs/walks for breast cancer, domestic violence, etc.; and other activities in line with our mission statement.
  • Educational - CLC sponsors events to educate our American community about Lebanon. Additionally, CLC organizes a number of activities to educate members about a variety of topics related to health, financial investment, and more.
  • Cultural - CLC seeks to raise awareness of the many positive attributes of the rich Lebanese culture and ancient heritage. The Club participates in various cultural events such as the Skokie Cultural Festival.
