Collaboration on the 2016 Chicago Olympic Bid with NAAP Chicago

Our community is playing a very important role in Chicago's bid to host the 2016 Olympics. Arab Americans have been appointed to the very prestigious Chicago 2016 Olympic Committee:

Ms. Heba Hamouda
Ms. Tajani Farhan
Mr. Marwan Baya
Mr. Raed Masoud
Mr. Khaled J. Elkhatib

Also, Mr. Waleed Elgindy works full-time with Chicago 2016 is traveling around the world promoting Chicago and our Arab community.

During the week of April 2-8, a very important group of individuals will be in Chicago to evaluate whether Chicago will get the Olympics. This group is comprised of 8 voting members of the International Olympic Committee. 2 of the 8 members are Arab.

Come learn about the Olympics, and help our community shine! Our community is very involved and we need to show support.
